Location and directions

You can reach us comfortably from any of the adjoining countries. Drive along the coastal road in Opatija and follow the directions to Moscenicka Draga, your destination is the small town of Kraj. At the bus station turn – after 50m you will find the Villa Iris on your right. Private and secured parking is of course available free of any charges.

Main means of transportation in Croatia are buses. Various transport companies offer direct connections to Rijeka from where you can take a local bus to Kraj.

International and regional trains run from all Balkan cities via Croatia’s capital Zagreb to Rijeka.

International flights are available to the following cities:
Zagreb (ca 2.5h drive by car to Kraj)

Rijeka (Airport is located on the island Krk, a 45 minute drive from Rijeka via shuttle bus from where you can take a taxi/local bus to reach Kraj)

Pula (1.5 hour drive to Kraj)

Ljubljana, Slovenia (2.5 hour drive to Kraj)

Trieste, Italy (2 hour drive to Kraj)

Rental cars and taxis are available at all airports. Accepted payment methods are the national currency Kuna as well as credit cards. Most facilities also accept payments in Euros.
